Dear Friends, .....Thank you for visiting my website! I hope that after you finish going through my history and the information provided in this website, you will feel confident in supporting me for Judge of Bexar County's 288th Civil District Court. The bench that I am seeking is a civil district court recently filled by Governor Perry after Judge Lori Massey resigned her position in November 2008. This judgeship is an elected position, so the incumbent currently in office must be elected by the voters in 2010. The citizens of Bexar County deserve a choice, and I trust that you will make me your choice in 2010. .....The rule of law, also called supremacy of law, means that the law is above everyone and applies to everyone equally. As your choice for judge of Bexar County's 288th Civil District Court, I will follow the rule of law to ensure the objective, impartial decisions that we deserve from all judges. At the same time, I believe that justice also requires heart. My years of volunteer activities and service to a number of non-profit organizations have given me the human experience to deal compassionately with the litigants who find themselves en masse at our courthouse daily. As your choice for judge of Bexar County's 288th Civil District Court, I will serve not only the legal interests, but also the human interests of our community. Best regards, Tina |
